Scroll through calendars with your mouse to quickly find what you need – and see competency expiry dates right in the calendar, no need to dig through tables. You can now filter leave calendars by contract type, and everyone involved in a business trip gets an email confirmation when a PWS is issued. Cost-free trip? Just mark it directly during settlement.
Calendars: even easier to use

Go to this feature in HRnest: https://app.hrnest.io/leave-planning
You can now freely scroll through calendars by dragging your mouse. It’s especially handy in the Standard view, where more data is displayed.
Tip: You can switch between Standard and Compact calendar views at any time – depending on how much detail you need.
Competency expiry dates now visible in Personal file calendar

The calendar in the Personal file section, visible from the HR account, now shows expiry dates of competencies.
These are the dates you enter when assigning a competency to an employee.
Click a date to see the details – and plan renewals without digging through files.
Travel Authorization Form notifications land straight in your inbox

Everyone involved in the delegation process now gets an email when a TAF is approved.
The message includes all the key details – so you know what, when, and where without logging in.
This makes travel-related communication faster and smoother.
You can enable it in Configuration > Business trip configuration > Settings.

Mark cost-free business trips in the settlement

You can now mark a business trip as cost-free directly during the settlement.
It’s a quicker way to close cost-related formalities.
Filter time off based on contract type

In the Planning absences calendar, from the HR account, you can now filter employees by contract type.
The filter is hidden by default – just click on “more filters” above the calendar to turn it on.

API: Export calendars with holidays and non-working days
Thanks to the new API V2, you can now fetch calendars with their unique IDs – including all defined holidays and non-working days.
API documentation: https://api.hrnest.io/docs/index.html
For better control, we’ve added permission settings – from the main HR account, you can add or restrict access for other admin users, so only the right people see this data.
You can enable this feature in Configuration > Integrations > API.

iCal: Prevent scheduling meetings when someone’s away
The system now reflects employee absences in external calendars like Google or Outlook – making it easier to avoid scheduling conflicts.
If someone’s on leave, they’ll appear as busy, which helps block their availability. But if the request is about a change of work location (like remote or field work), the employee can still be invited to meetings.
This change helps you plan more accurately and keep operations running smoothly.
