More system notifications
We’ve expanded system notifications so that significantly more messages generated by HRnest are now delivered directly within the application.

From now on, users can view information about most events in one place, including many that were previously available only via email. This makes it easier to keep track of important updates and revisit them without searching through an inbox.
Preview PDF files without downloading
We’ve added the ability to preview PDF files directly in the system, without downloading them to your computer first.

Documents can now be opened in a preview window without leaving the current screen. This feature is available wherever users work with attachments, allowing them to quickly review a document before downloading it or taking further action.
The new file preview experience streamlines everyday document handling, reduces the time needed to verify documents, and provides a consistent way of working with attachments throughout the system.
API extension with access to Custom Fields
We’ve extended the API with new endpoints that allow integrations to retrieve data from Custom Fields.

Integrations can now retrieve a list of available custom fields along with their identifiers, as well as read the values assigned to employees with filtering options.
This makes it easier to use custom field data in external systems, reports, and integration workflows.
Details about the new API endpoints are available in the HRnest API documentation:

New columns in the List of requests
The List of requests has been enhanced with two new columns that make it easier to monitor request approval and cancellation processes.

The “Skipped workflow“ column lets you quickly identify requests that were sent directly to the HR department, bypassing the standard approval workflow.
The “To cancel” column indicates requests for which a cancellation request has been submitted and is still awaiting a decision.

These columns improve the visibility of the Requests List and make it easier to identify items that require attention. Please note that both columns are hidden by default and can be enabled from the list view configuration.
Schedule management improvements
We’ve introduced two new features to make schedule management more efficient.
When adding or removing working hours in bulk, you can now immediately move to another date range by selecting one of the available options: the same date range, next week, the next 14 days, or the next 30 days.

The “Same date range” option copies the entire form without changing the selected dates, while the other options automatically set a new date range and preserve all other form settings. This eliminates the need to enter the same information repeatedly.
We’ve also added a “Today” button that lets you jump directly to the current date in the schedule view with a single click. This makes it much easier to find the current day when reviewing or editing schedules.

These new features simplify schedule management, reduce the time spent on repetitive tasks, and make it easier to navigate longer planning periods.
