New custom field types in employee profiles
Custom fields in employee profiles now support new data types. In addition to the single-line text field, the following options are available:
- multi-line text field,
- number field,
- decimal field,
- date field,
- time field.
The new formats make it easier to match how information is stored to the type of data and create employee profiles tailored to the specific needs of the company. Custom field values are also included in the Organisation export, allowing them to be used outside the system, for example when filtering and analysing employee data.
Compact view of the work time calendar
Just like the absences calendar, the work time calendar now offers a compact view. It presents data in a layout that takes up less space, allowing more days and information about more employees to fit on the screen.
Depending on your needs, you can switch between the compact and standard views.
Greater control over requests covering the same period
We have changed how the “Parallel issuing with other requests” option works in the request type settings.
Requests of different types can now cover the same date or time range only when this option is enabled for each of them. If a request has already been submitted for a given period, the ability to add another one depends on the settings of all overlapping request types.
This allows the system to block combinations that are not permitted, such as remote work and annual leave, without restricting those intentionally allowed in the settings. It considers the settings of all overlapping requests, regardless of the order in which they were submitted.
Longer active session duration
We have extended the duration of active sessions in HRnest, giving users more time to work without the risk of being logged out automatically.
Those who use HRnest on the same device can also select the “Remeber me” option on the login page to reduce the need to sign in again.
