Adding profile photos in the Employee Profile
You can now add profile photos in HRnest. The photo will be visible everywhere initials were shown before – in lists, profiles and documents.
How to add a photo (HR Department):
- Go to Organization > Employee Profile
- Click the initials/photo area
- Select a file from your disk, cut it and click Save
You can also enable an option that lets employees upload their own profile photos.
How to enable this option:
- Go to Configuration > General Settings > Employee Accounts
- Enable Allow employees to manage profile photos
Employees can then add photos via the same path in My Profile. They can only edit and delete their own photos.
Faster month switching in leave and working time calendars
No need to open the month dropdown anymore – just click the arrow to move to the previous or next month.
Arrows are now available in the monthly calendar views:
- Leave > Calendar
- Working Time > Calendar
Exporting employee address and address type columns
When exporting the request list to Excel, two new columns are now available: Address and Address type. These fields contain the address data provided by the employee when submitting a request.
Export is available only from an HR Department account.
How to export this data:
- Go to Leave > Request List
- Open the context menu
- Select Export to Excel
Downloading leave requests in PDF regardless of their status
Leave requests can now be downloaded as PDF, regardless of their status – with or without the approval history.
How to download a PDF:
- Go to Leave > Request List
- Open the request and click Download PDF
Managers’ access to attachments in leave requests
You can also enable an option that allows managers to download attachments from their employees’ leave requests.
How to enable this feature:
- Go to Configuration > Leave > Leave Requests
- Enable Allow supervisors to access attachments in leave requests
